Project 57000+, according to the Chief Consultant, Edumark, Mrs. Yinka Ogunde represented by Mrs. Flourish Adeniyi goes beyond connecting students like "We Are The Future of Our Nation" WATFON, an annual event which brings together final year students across the country to foster unity and inspire patriotism to touching the lives of 57,000+ students across Nigeria as the country is celebrating 57 years of independence.

She said the core objective of the project is to celebrate 57 years of Nigeria's independence with 57,000 students across the country with the theme: Dare to Lead which will run from October to December 2017.

"11 years after the launch of WATFON, we asked ourselves, has Nigeria dramatically transformed if not it had shown us that it matters that we still need to drum it into the ears of Nigerians especially the youths on the importance of patriotism. That is why we have decided to bring up to 57,000 young Nigerians to come together to move the country forward."Flourish said apart from WATFON which inspire patriotism and promoting unity, "we need to preach peace and prosperity because everyone needs to play their part because we are in this ship call Nigeria together.

The keynote speaker, Mr Norrison Quakers (SAN), Litigation and Human rights law practitioner told the students that if the country must change or develop they have a role to play because the destiny of the country is in their hands.

He said a generation has gone and another is passing that is why they need to play their part well for the country to move forward.

He said the biggest challenge in the country is the inability to look inwards and that is why the country is where it is today and to dare to lead the young generation must give themselves to the four Ds- Desire, Discipline, Determination, and Diligence.

The expert said they must desire to be different in whatever they do, they must have internal and external discipline which has to do with how they comport themselves internally and externally.
Others according to him is that the students need to aspire to achieve a goal against all odds. "No matter the challenges that confront you or stare at you, you must set a goal for yourself and be determined to achieve it."

Quakers also urged them to be diligent in carrying out the tasks before them. "I am praying for this generation that is coming because you need to do a lot, think outside the box and look for role models beyond the shores of the country and with this, you will excel."

He told the students to try to excel against all odds, "no matter the influence of your parents whether negative or positive or societal influence you need to embrace the changing world.

The government is looking for a way to change the constitution to now make a 30year old person aspire to be president of the country. "In the past, you can only be forty to become president but it's about to change, why not take up the challenge starting from now."

He said as they aspire to take up leadership in all spheres in the country or at different levels they must not act as a boss rather they need to appreciate people, have flair for criticisms, "because people are bound to criticize you but once you abide by the rules, the end result and ultimate reward will place you to the pedestrian of leadership."

Another inspirational speaker and Chief Executive Officer, Dimension Edibiz and Associates, Mr Akin Benjamin told the students to be conscious of national pride through good leadership wherever they find themselves and by ensuring they are free from criminal activities.

He said with a population of over 190 million they can excel as an entrepreneur if they start now .

He, however, urged them not to neglect education as they aspire to lead. "You need to finish school no matter what you want to become. Even if it is a sport you want to pursue, you should know that there is a time limit for sporting talent."
